So yeah, this is an idea I came up with before finding out about Links death.

One is a prince, the other is a commoner.

One is gay and the other is a tomboy.

I imagine when Kendra first met Link she couldnt quite believe he was gay, being a good looking prince and all.

Since Kendra pretty much was raised in stadiums around big macho players she was curious about the whole thing as she never met a gay dude before.

But then Kendra realized the love betwen Link and Blade was true so she was ok with it.

What begun as a teacher/stundet relationship (Link took her as an apprentice to help her develop her powers) now is an unconditional friendship, Kendra is a bit of a screw loose and fun girl, with mades Link be more laid back.

In battles (thought shes not as powerful as Link) she watches his back all the same.
